The Twin Game V J Chambers Books
As a twin myself, I love books about twins. The complex relationship between twins is much deeper than one between sisters, in my opinion--and that comes from the fact I also have a non-twin sister. This book nails the twin-relationship. The characters are all so well-developed I feel as if i personally know them now. The twists are a'plenty. It's not often I cannot predict the end of a book, but the author nearly gave me whiplash in my predictions. If you like books about sister, twins, suspense, and/or like your books with plenty of twists, then this one is for you. It's the first one I've read from this author, but I love her writing style too, so I'm going to look for MOAR.Product details

The Twin Game V J Chambers Books Reviews
Wow, holy ?!@&! I liked it; I liked it a lot. I had read the reviews where a lot of people said they thought they had it all figured out at half-way to three-quarters, and then whammo, another twist, and they were right. I started reading last night in bed, then HAD to go to sleep, reluctantly. Today, I picked it back up and couldn't stop. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
As the headline says, "you got me good"! I was sure I had this story figured out. You tricked me into believing I was right. I'm not going to give anything away but good job. I've enjoyed your books. Always happy to have time to get back to reading them.
Hope and Serenity are identical twins, growing up with a mirror image of themselves; however, the two couldn’t be more different. While Serenity was smooth and flawless, Hope was clumsy and stupid. She hated Serenity and how perfect and delicate she was.
The day that she visited her father’s headstone, Hope was kidnapped and was told that she would die like all the rest. When she reported it, no one believed her and she spent her days in a mental institution. Now, she’s back in her old home, back with her spiteful twin.
Memories once again flood Hope’s mind—how Serenity was so cruel to her, how in love she was with Rhys, and how the family need to play the “Serenity Doesn’t Exist” game.
While reminiscing of the family’s past and psychological trauma, Hope firmly believe that the killer, who has raped and murdered several girls, is still out there and will kill again. Meanwhile, Hope starts to question her own sanity. What’s real and what isn’t? Why are Rhys and Serenity saying she’s having delusions? She saw what she saw…right?
Family secrets are unearthed in this enticing and gripping novel. Exciting and full of mystery! This is a game you’ll want to finish ‘til the end.
I really enjoyed this book. I thought the writing was very well done and I thought I had it figured out around chapter 14 but I was wrong. It is a bit confusing at times, and maybe a tad bit hard to follow at first but I got sucked in and finished it in less than a day. It was a good quick read.
I can usually figure out who did what by the end of, at the most, the 4th chapter. This one took me almost to the end without knowing a thing!! Great plot and well developed characters.
This book grabs you hard and fast from page one and doesn't let you go until the final word. Even then you don't want it to stop. This story makes you stay focused, like a super detective---love it!!! You will doubt yourself more than once, believe me, on what you think you know.
I started reading this book and I thought that I didn't like it, but would keep reading. I found that as I kept reading, I started to enjoy more. I thought as I read it i had it figured out, that I solved the mystery. Nope. The author has alot of twists and turns and you won't see them coming. If you like thrillers, read this one.
